On the morning of October 16, the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held in Beijing. During this event, Chinese President Xi Jinping, who serves as the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a report on behalf of the members of the 19^th Central Committee to the 20^th CPC National Congress. The Party branch of the CGCM mobilized all Party members and active applicants for Party membership to watch this milestone conference that aimed to build on past successes and chart the way forward.

The 20^th CPC National Congress is a meeting of great importance. It takes place at a critical time as the entire Party and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups embark on a new journey to build China into a modern socialist country in all respects and advance toward the Second Centenary Goal.

All Party members and active applicants for Party membership were fully engaged in the conference, taking notes while listening attentively. They felt inspired and greatly uplifted as they could learn about and grasp the main spirit of the conference in real time.

The participants expressed that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report was visionary, far-reaching, and rich in content, serving as a guiding document for overseeing the comprehensive development of the Party’s and the country’s future undertakings. The report was also expected to play an important guiding role in their future work and study. Looking ahead, we must be guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report, deeply understand the Two Establishes, and resolutely stick to the Two Upholds. We will shoulder our responsibilities in our respective positions and continuously enhance the level of public cultural services and build cultural confidence and strength in the operations of the CGCM. Through concrete actions, we will aim to lead in implementing the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress, securing new successes in developing socialist culture, and contributing to a new chapter in the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
