Water Flows Left and Right, the Youth Yearns Day and Night

The gallery primarily showcases interactive multimedia and immersive experiences through a film script that is crafted to reflect the unique characteristics of the space. The exhibition space is designed with a partition-free and artistic layout, seamlessly connecting with the film. The multimedia film is structured so that its end is also its beginning, making any location within the gallery a potential starting point for a visit.

Drawing inspiration from the unique culture of the Grand Canal, the exhibition distills the symbolic meanings of four sections: “Water”, “Transport”, “Poetry”, and “Paintings”. Through the abstract and symbolic language of multimedia, the exhibition portrays an aesthetic vision of “flowing culture”. Suspended from the ceiling, an artistic pavilion installation features metal mesh woven between its structural frames, creating a translucent 3D outline of an ancient pavilion. The artistic installation’s refined expression of the original form aligns seamlessly with the core concept of the multimedia film. The synergy between these two forms broadens the audience’s imaginative experience. The fusion of realistic natural and cultural landscapes with abstract visual art creates a stunning visual display, showcasing the millennia-old canal and envisioning a bright future.
