To facilitate the launch of the Canal in Children’s Eyes – The Grand Canal In My Heart exhibition, we asked the public to submit children’s canal-themed artworks. Since the inception of the initiative, primary and secondary schools, various social institutions and organizations, and individual students from cities along the Grand Canal have enthusiastically participated by registering and submitting their artworks. According to statistics, a total of 287 entries were received from various regions across China after 12 days of solicitation. Following the evaluation process, 45 works have been chosen for inclusion in the online exhibition. The exhibition showcases the unique cognitive universe of children’s perspectives on the millennia-old Grand Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as seen through their hearts.
