(3) Key social development project of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2022: “Research on Methods for Preventing and Controlling Soil Cracking in Large Earthen Ruins: A Case Study of Cultural Relics from Large Ruins in the Collection of the Yangzhou China Grand Canal Museum”

This project addresses the practical conservation needs of large earthen ruins within museum collections. By investigating the damage caused by one-way evaporation of soil moisture in museum environments, the research aims to explore technical methods for maintaining stable soil moisture in these ruins. Through a combination of on-site research and simulated laboratory experiments, the project aims to achieve stable soil moisture levels in the ruins to prevent damage such as cracking and pulverization.
